Design Field Trip is for designers and by designers. We take trips to iconic design locations for fun and for inspiration on all our various projects. Our participants are product designers, illustrators, architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and furniture makers. We are the type of people that go to the Judd house and look at the screw heads. After each trip, the work of one of the designers who came along is profiled against the backdrop of the location. This project was started by Jean Lee and Dylan Davis from Ladies & Gentlemen Studio and Michael Yarinsky from Specht Architects one evening in the summer of 2015 while drinking beers and eating watermelon on a dock in Red Hook.
